Another super-popular choice when students have the opportunity to come to Library Centers are these blocks! Yes, students are still checking out books and reading, but public libraries have been getting on the Maker-Space bandwagon for years now, so this is our way of having a hands-on choice in our school library. It's been fascinating to watch students as young as 6 and as old as 12 sit with a few friends and build something together with the blocks. Today, these friends built a library! Isn't it wonderful?
