#1. All Gr. K - 5 students are invited to participate in a contest to get their very own book published and on the shelves of the Homewood Public Library! Original stories can be fact or fiction, prose or poetry and invented spelling is fine – YAY! Click on the files below get a contest form (which is due at the Homewood Library by Nov. 27th) and an optional outline form I created to help interested student-authors get started.

October is always fun since HallowREAD books are so popular and we have a lot of them! This year, it’s also HalloWRITE time because our neighbor, The Homewood Public Library, is sponsoring 2 writing contests for K-8 students: Here’s to an October full of spooky, silly, haunting, fun stories, poems, and books!
